Introduction

My name is Gayan Perera. I am 14 years old. I am a Sri Lankan ,Buddhist.For more information on Buddhism click here I was born on the 25th of April 1989.

My father works in Garments Manufacturing business. Due to the nature of his profession he travelled a lot.. So we travelled & lived in few different countries.. Currently he is in Nirobi, Kenya. My brother & me are currently living in the U.K with my mother.

I was born in Dakka, Bangladesh. . I lived in Bangladesh for ten months before leaving to U.A.E.

On the February 1990 we came to Jabel-Ali, DUBAI?????????????? U.A.E (Which is in the middle-east.) (There are 7 Emirates in the U.A.E, which are like states; They are Dubai, Sharjah, )We lived in Jabel Ali villege.

Five months after we came to Jabel Ali, my brother Gihan was born. He was born on the 11th of July 1990

I started my schooling in Jabel-Ali Nursery. My brother also started from the same nursery.(My brother & me always attended to the same school).

After the nursery went to Al-Diyafha school Dubai, where I was in Kindergarten

In the summer 1995 my father went to work in Cairo Egypt . So we joined with him. At that time the President was Mr. Hossni Mubarak. We stayed in Egypt for whole Academic year In Egypt we lived in the capital Cario. I went to the Pakistan Embasy International school in prepratory. While in Egypt we visited many pyramids such as the Giza, Sakara. We travelled a lot in Egypt & visited many places. Egypt is also called"Mother of civilization " so there were many there were plenty of historical sites to see .

In 1996 we went back to the U.A.E. & lived in Sharjah. We continued schooling in Al-Diyafha school until I was in Grade 4 and my brother in Grade 3.

On April we left to Sri Lanka to celebrate the Sri Lankan New year . We intended to go back to Sharjah, but we stayed in Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka we settled down in Kandy. We schooled in Kandy Grammer School International, and my father started his own garments factory. We continued in the same grade we were in till I was in grade 5 and my brother, in grade 4.

In 2001 we came to Doha ,Quatar where my father worked.. I schooled for one year at Quatar International school before leaving to United Kingdom . I was in grade 6 and by brother in grade 5.

In 2001 we joined Hillgrove school. and we are still schooling in Hillgrove .My father went back to work in Nairobi Kenya. My brother & me are living here with my mother..When we joined Hillgrove I was in grade 7 and my brother in grade 6.

I live in Bangor,(North)Wales which is part of the British isles and Study in Hillgrove School.

Currently I am in Grade 9, while my brother is in Grade 8. My favourite subject is Maths. My favourite Sport is cricket. For the latest Cricketing News, click the link here www.cricinfo.com
